We have set up this website to share information that we think might be useful for people coming to our wedding party. We will try to update this website with useful information, please check back before the day.
We will be celebrating in The Gun, in Coldharbour.
The Gun, 27 Coldharbour Lane, E14 9NS
Steeped in history and offering striking river views, The Gun is renowned as one of London’s finest riverside pubs. A Grade II listed building with an exceptional riverside terrace looking over the Thames.
Transport
The Gun is 10 to 15 minute walk from Blackwall DLR station and 15 – 20 minutes from Canary Wharf Jubilee Line (exit towards Montgomery Square, Upper Bank Street) and Elizabeth Line (East exit) stations. Unfortunately there are planned closures on the DLR so trains will not run to Blackwall, but a rail replacement bus service will be in operation.
The D6 and D7 buses stop nearby, and the 135, D8, 15 also stop a short walk away.

We strongly advise you not to drive on the day, parking restrictions apply in the area.
Accommodation
We apologise that we are unable to host anyone during this time.
There are a wide range of hotels including Holiday Inn, Travel Lodge, Premiere Inn, Ibis etc in the local are and close to stops along the DLR and Jubilee line. We appreciate London prices can be high so do look at deals through Trivago, Expedia, Secret Escapes etc. There may also be options via Airbnb. Remember to check about parking restrictions if you are driving to your accommodation.
The Premiere Inn (Canary Wharf) is next to West Ferry DLR and would be a good midway choice between The Gun and the venue for the ceremony earlier in the day for those attending.
(We have not price checked against other hotels).
Additional Information
Friday / Sunday
We would love you to join us and other guests on the Friday evening for drinks and something to eat and on the Sunday for brunch/breakfast before travelling home.
Friday evening we have booked an area in the Henry Addington from 5pm – 9pm.
On Sunday we will be in The Ledger from 10.30am.

Children
Children are welcome and we would love to see them. We want everyone to relax and enjoy the day in full. If you feel you would be more able to do this without your children we will understand.
